Welcome to Accolade House. We are a residential family centre in Widnes, Halton, offering accommodation for one large family (up to two parents and three children). We provide a non-judgmental environment for parents to develop good parenting skills and rebuild family bonds, aiming for positive and lasting change away from court or local authority identified risks. We offer a nurturing environment for children to grow, thrive, and bond with their parents during the 12-week assessment.
Accolade House provides a stress-free environment for families to demonstrate their parenting capacity during a 12-week assessment. Our evidence-based recommendations ensure the child’s safety and evaluate whether parents can care for their child in the community. We offer a secure space for children to bond with their parents while addressing safety concerns. Our approach helps parents build confidence and develop skills, measured against the child’s progress.
Our centre conducts thorough evaluations of parenting skills tailored to each family’s needs. We provide mid-way and final reports that align with court instructions and local authority requirements, delivered within specified timescales.
