What is it?

At Accolade Midlands, we are a specialist outreach and support service delivering intensive support to vulnerable children, young people, and families across the Midlands area. Our service is social work-led and grounded in trauma-informed practice, offering meaningful interventions that prevent escalation, reduce the need for care, and improve family outcomes.

We work with families experiencing high levels of risk and adversity, including:

Repeat child removals
Alcohol and substance misuse
Domestic abuse
Neglect
Mental health difficulties
Learning difficulties
Physical abuse
Non-accidental injuries

Our flexible wraparound care aims to:

Prevent children entering care
Promote safe reunification
Strengthen parenting capacity
Improve child safety, wellbeing, and long-term outcomes
Assist within assessment periods and provide detailed oversights to professionals and the courts

Support is tailored to each family’s circumstances and delivered through hands-on, relationship-based practice in the home and community.

Parenting Interventions

We deliver bespoke therapeutic parenting interventions designed to help caregivers and their families better understand and respond to their child’s physical, emotional, social and developmental needs. These approaches are:
